  • other information you choose to provide in connection with an inquiry

Ekria may also process technical and usage-related information about how the website is used, such as page views, approximate geographic information, device type, browser and how visitors move between pages. Such information is collected via Google Analytics.

3. Why the data is processed

Ekria processes personal data in order to:

  • receive, read and respond to inquiries

When you contact Ekria, your personal data is processed primarily on the basis of legitimate interest, namely the interest in being able to receive and respond to inquiries and manage business contact that you have initiated.

If the processing is necessary to take steps prior to entering into a potential agreement with you, the processing may also take place on that basis.

For the use of analytics cookies and analysis tools, consent may be required under applicable rules.

5. Forms and external service providers

When you send a message via the form on the website, the data is processed via Netlify Forms, which is used to receive and manage form submissions.

Ekria also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited, how visitors find the website and how content can be improved.

This means that external service providers may process data on Ekria's behalf to the extent needed for operation, form handling, analytics and technical functionality.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure use of the website and produce statistics.

If cookies that require consent are used, such consent shall be obtained before they are activated.

7. How long the data is stored

Ekria stores personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which the data was collected.

Data from contact inquiries is normally stored for as long as needed to manage, follow up and document the contact, and is then deleted when no longer relevant, unless longer storage is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

8. Sharing of data

Ekria does not sell personal data.

Personal data may be shared with suppliers who process data on Ekria's behalf, for example for website operation, form handling, analytics or technical infrastructure.

Data may also be disclosed if required by law, by decision of a public authority or if necessary to protect legal interests.
